Farewell Norway - for now. As always there’s lots of time waiting at airports - that was me yesterday and it gave me time to reflect on our short stay in Norway. Such a beautiful country and the people are very open and easy, great sense of humour. Looking at a map you can see it is such Slartibartfast territory. For those not familiar with this Douglas Adams character, Slartibartfast is a Magrathean and a designer of planets. His favourite part of the job is creating coastlines, the most notable of course is Norway’s coast with its squiggly fjords. Not surprisingly he won an award for that design! Seriously though we’ll be back to explore this magnificent country. Au bientot …. or words to that effect in Norse.
